Meet Forth Dimension Displays at ITE Image Technology 2022 in Yokohama

The ITE on Image Technology takes place at the Pacifico Yokohama from 7 – 9 December 2022. Forth Dimension Displays with its partner Forte Solution Asia present its expanding range of Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) and microdisplays at booth #35 in Hall D.

The SLMs are based on ferroelectric liquid crystal technology (FLCOS) with resolution up to 4.1 Megapixel. Optical systems for fast and stable structuring of light use the binary amplitude modulation of ForthDD’s SLMs. 3D optical metrology with sinusoidal grey patterns is one of the main applications where the structured light is synchronized with the camera. 3D Automated Optical Inspection and other in-line quality control steps benefit from the experience of Forth Dimension Displays.

Forth Dimension Displays’ imagers for 3D metrology at The Vision Show 2022

The Vision Show opens its doors in Boston’s Hynes Convention Center from October 11 – 13, 2022. Forth Dimension Displays is excited to present its expanding range of all-digital imagers at booth #610

3D optical metrology using stripe projection offers significant yield improvement by monitoring and readjusting in-line process steps like soldering of components on PCBs in Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). Quality control with 3D optical in line inspection for LED manufacturing enable our customers to make measurements with micrometer precision. Forth Dimension Displays is a leader in supplying imagers for stripe projection.

The imagers are Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) based on ferroelectric liquid crystal technology (FLCOS) offering resolution up to 4.1 Megapixel (2048 x 2048 pixels). Optical systems for fast and stable projection of structured light use the fast binary amplitude modulation of ForthDD’s SLMs. A dedicated interface board for 3D optical metrology and an optional LED drive board are speeding up the optical design of structured light projectors.
